The interactive aquarium project is a licensed product intented for visitors areas and exhibition spaces. It's a fun, highly interactive, large touchscreen application which is filled with beautiful, animated fish in a vibrant environment.
The aquarium has a number of touch interactions and activities, such as musical razor clams, curious clown fish, a fully charged electric eel, a temperamental octopus living in the treasure chest, a screen-filling blue whale and even a full disco once the disco fish arrives and kicks off the underwater dance.
The application was developed in Unity, and C#. The project required the creation of a number of Unity plugins to solve navigation and AI problems in our fully custom built underwater world.

The app was developed as a cross platform mobile app using Unity 5, and is available on the Google play and Apple app stores.
The app was designed by Frontpage and developed by Kupio for Air New Zealand.
The Glencairn website is a completely custom built site that refreshed Glencairn's previous internet presence with a slick modern style, whilst improving internal handling of orders with a custom order processing system.
The site includes a showroom for exclusive pieces produced by Glencairn, as well as adding a fully featured retail store front. A full back-end was implemented that tracks orders around the factory and improves day-to-day insight into the production process.
The site was developed using the PHP frameworks Slim and Twig, and is hosted on a dedicated LAMP server.
Glasgow Science Centre
Kupio helped to build a number of interactive exhibits for the Powering the Future exhibition at Glasgow Science Centre. The exhibits are fun, educational installations that promote greener energy and explain where our energy comes from.
Exhibits include "Energy Minister for the day", a live display of the national grid output, and a quiz game where answering energy questions correctly saves power for a city.
The exhibits were animated and built using Adobe Air. C++ extensions were used to help calculate energy usage and cost figures for the MyDECC 2050 "Energy Minister for a day" exhibit. PHP was used to implement a locally hosted CMS and tracking back end.
The exhibits were designed by Boundary Interactive and implemented by Kupio.
